A convenient NON-traditional way to have your mate the traditional way. The maté will be together with the water just like you would on a gourd but you have a lid that protects you from a messy mate spill.

WARNING:
NEVER HAVE YOUR JARMA WITH HOT LIQUID ON A COLD SURFACE
If the liquid is very hot ( normally over 85F ) and the glass is on top of a "cold" surface, such as a kitchen countertop. It could shatter because of the expansion of the glass. Unless it is a tempered or tempered or double glass such as the trays the goes on the oven.
If you like your mate very hot, this is something to be aware of, or you can use a ceramic gourd.
